I enjoyed my stay, especially the hot powerful shower and comfy mattress that let me sleep soundly. The garden area was a perfect spot to unwind, and I also loved the cozy common space for relaxing with a book. The only hiccup was the room got a bit stuffy during the night 😅, so maybe a fan could help. Definitely worth a visit!

spacious room but lacking some amenities
The large bedroom provided ample space for relaxation and comfort. The cleanliness of both the bathroom and bedroom stood out, making my stay pleasant.
I found the lack of some basic amenities in the room a bit disappointing.

Cozy, cozy, cozy.
I absolutely loved the cozy ambiance of this traditional inn! The room was spacious and had a magnificently comfy bed that made it hard to get up in the morning. Plus, breakfast included a tasty option of eggy bread with bacon and maple syrup—such a delightful twist!

Cozy pub with a twist
Stopped by for a quick pint but no chef that day, so ended up eating sausage rolls we grabbed from the butcher across the street. The barmaid was kinda rude when we asked to eat inside. Charges for drinks seemed a bit high too. Nice atmosphere, though, and the bar area was lovely for hanging out.

Family with children great choice
We booked a Standard Quadruple Room and the new owners really did impress me this time. The staff were friendly and attentive, I even saw them rearranging the patio outside to make it a nicer space for families.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but the quality made it worth it.

The family room was huge with a double bed and two bunk beds, perfect for our group. We had a nice private bathroom with fresh towels. The TV had satellite channels and there was reliable wifi. We also enjoyed the spacious layout and parking right behind the room. The spa facilities included fitness options. very pleasant stay.

The king room offered clean and comfortable accommodations, enhancing the overall experience. Staff were welcoming, especially when I needed an extra night. they seamlessly allowed me to stay in my original room without extra charges. there were issues during my meals when I observed notable rudeness among the bar staff, including abrupt behavior that overshadowed the pleasant environment. the meals, though satisfactory, lacked the personal touch expected in a more engaging setting.
